Nordic Music Days 2010 - In touch with the music!

The annual festival for Nordic Music is held this year in Copenhagen from September the 8th to the 11th. Four amazing evenings in very different venues, with concerts featuring music by contemporary Nordic composers and excellent ensembles from Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Germany and Belgium, cool lounge and treats on the spot.  Also you can experience workshops, a composers’ talk show, an international conference and music by the young.

Folk music and new music mingle on the Opening Night in Den Grå Hal – the famous venue in the middle of Copenhagen’s own Free State Christiania. Traditions are challenged on Day 2 both in the music performed and in the setting of the concerts. Day 3 presents a concert made entirely by the composer collective Dygong and artists from NMD Youth. On Day 4 there are several indoor and outdoor concerts around Copenhagen during the day, before the closing night on Borups Højskole, a beautiful venue overlooking the canals of Copenhagen.

Join us in Copenhagen – there’s a chance for everyone to get in touch with new Nordic music.
