Meet the composers – NMD interviews

With an old hard line phone, a contact microphone and a Skype-connection, 30 Nordic composers have been interviewed in preparation for Nordic Music Days 2010.

“New music is not by default relevant – you have to be in contact with the world you live in”

Meet 30 very different people, all with a common passion for music composition, and listen when they talk about their thoughts on inspiration, motivation, musicians, audiences and genres. With these intimate long distance conversations, you are given the opportunity to get a little closer to the composers, and thus their music. Meet the composers!
