Catharina Backman

Catharina Backman is a freelance composer, musician and an artist of varieté vaudeville. She has studied composition at the Malmö Academy of Music with Rolf Martinsson, Hans Gefors, Kent Olofsson and Javier Alvarez. This autumn she works amongst other things with a commission for the Swedish Wind Ensemble and will release a cd with music written for glassharp by and with the duo Gretli & Heidi.
