Danish National Chamber Orchestra

Denmark

The Danish National Chamber Orchestra, headed by chief conductor Adam Fischer, enjoys a broader repertoire than any other orchestra in Denmark. Ever since its foundation in 1939 it has aimed to provide audiences with musical entertainment of the highest caliber in every conceivable genre. As a result the orchestra not only plays but also initiates a wide range of fascinating genre fusions: rock, ballet, jazz, folksongs, musicals, Mozart ... the Danish National Chamber Orchestra refuses to limit the musical challenges it takes on.

Danish National Chamber Orchestra will perform on Skolekoncert of NORDIC MUSIC DAYS 2010.
