Dygong
DYGONG was founded in 2004 by the four composers Christian Winther Christensen, Regin Petersen, Nicolai Worsaae Rasmussen and Simon Løffler who all studied composition at the Royal Danish Academy of Music. From their background in classical music the founders of DYGONG have developed a multiple tone language ranging from modern interpretations of sailor songs and classical choir pieces to noisy crunchy electronica. The essence of Dygong’s work is not so much a common sound ideal as it is a common approach to the sounding material and to the idea of creating music based on humoristic experiments and potential disasters.
