Marian Levaja

Conductor and composer Marián Lejava studied composition and conducting with Vladimir Bokes and Ondrej Lenárd at the Academy of Music and Drama in Bratislava (1996-2005). Since 2000 he has been conducting contemporary music with leading Slovak ensembles, among others VENI ensemble and Melos Ethos ensemble. Levaja is further more the leader of The Opera Studio at the AMD in Bratislava and is also member of ISCM Slovak section commitee.
