PACE Percussion Trio

Denmark

PACE Percussion Trio was formed in 1999 and consists of the prominent percussionists Mathias Reumert, David Hildebrandt and Mathias Friis-Hansen. The trio is rooted in the classical music tradition but stands out in their own unique way by performing original pieces, composed by the members of the trio themselves, which combine live percussion with the computer. In 2002 Pace Percussion Trio won 2nd price at Danish National Radio Chamber Music Competition as well as the price for the best live performance of a newly written composition. Through the years they have toured in Denmark, South Korea, Germany and Israel and have further more collaborated with the musicians and artists Marylin Mazur, Ture Larsen, Thomas Agergaard, Anders Remmer and Thomas Knak. Lately the trio has been working with choreographer Tim Rushton from The Danish Dance Theater with whom they are going on a tour in England in 2011.

PACE Percussion Trio will perform on Day 4 of NORDIC MUSIC DAYS 2010.
