Nordic Music Days - in touch with the music!

The main programme of Nordic Music Days 2010 presents 4 evenings with excellent ensembles and soloists from Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Germany and Belgium, a composers’ talk show, new Nordic music and treats on the spot.

Enjoy an entire evening in each of the unique festival venues in the heart of Copenhagen, and experience the best of New Nordic Music. Meet the composers and hear them tell about their music, and be surprised by the artists of NMD Youth

Folk music and new music mingle on the Opening Night in the Grey Hall – the famous venue in the middle of Copenhagen’s own Free State Christiania. Traditions are challenged on Day 2 both in the music performed and in the setting of the concerts.

Day 3 presents a concert made entirely by the composer collective Dygong and artists from NMD Youth. On Day 4 there are several indoor and outdoor concerts around Copenhagen during the day, before the closing night on Borups Folk High School, a beautiful venue overlooking the canals of Copenhagen.
