Day 3
CLOSE ENCOUNTERS

Create your very own new music concert! Students from KULT, a high school-collaboration, present their version of a Nordic Music Days 2010 concert. This concert will open Day 3, which also features Adapter from Berlin, an electric string quartet, and a cool string music lounge.

The Festival is back at the Grey Hall in Christiania, but this Friday evening the stage is set for experimental music by young talented musicians, producers and composers from Denmark and Berlin.

The evening begins and ends with a premiere: first you can experience a whole new concert created especially for Nordic Music Days 2010 by a group of high school students in close collaboration with the composer collective Dygong. The evening ends in a cosy atmosphere with a cool string music lounge featuring the bass player Andreas Bennetzen and The Messer Quartet, composer Ejnar Kanding and DJ Copyflex.

In between premieres, the program offers music by young German, Finnish and Islandic composers. This is brought to you by Adapter, an up-coming Berlin ensemble, who, for the first time in Denmark, will be presenting the project GO NORTH!
